- Fourth of July Parade & Picnic – 3109 Pelham Rd., Madison, WI 53713
The Arbor Hills neighborhood in Madison will be hosting its own Fourth of July Parade & Picnic at Arbor Hills Park, with the parade kicking things off on July 4, 2025, at 11:00am. After watching the parade, head to the park for a picnic filled with great food and family-friendly activities. This is a small, local parade, so everyone's welcome to partake—meet at the corner of Grandview and Kingston to participate in the parade.
- Fourth Fest at the Edgewater – 1001 Wisconsin Pl., Madison, WI 53703
The annual Fourth Fest is returning to the beautiful Edgewater hotel, with a full day of family-friendly fun planned. Listen to live music all afternoon and evening, with breaks to see the amazing Mad City Water Ski Team put on spectacular shows on Lake Mendota. There will also be a special Kid Zone tent, where kids can enjoy face painting, crafts, balloon art, and more. The event takes place from 2:00pm–8:00pm on July 4, 2025.
- Stoughton Fair – 400 Mandt Pkwy., Stoughton, WI 53589
The Stoughton Fair, happening July 2-6, 2025, is packed full of classic family-friendly fair fun including live music, livestock shows, 4-H exhibits, a petting zoo, stunt dog shows, pie-eating contests and more. Grandstand events include a truck and tractor pull, CC Bucking Bulls Rodeo, and Legends of Monstertrucks Tour. A dazzling fireworks display happens on July 4, 2025 at dusk. The fair is free to attend, though some of the Grandstand Events will require a paid ticket.
- Monona Community Festival – 1055 Nichols Rd., Monona, WI 53716
Looking for something fun to do before the fireworks? The Monona Community Festival takes place July 3-4, 2025, at Winnequah Park, with tons of live music and events spread over two days. See bands on stage, visit the food trucks in the park, peruse a classic car show, participate in team trivia, and enjoy family time in the Kids' Corner. There are even some kid-friendly performances on the schedule, including James the Magician and children's musician David Landau. This event also includes a fireworks display on the Fourth of July, starting around dusk.
- WaunaBoom – 213 Dorn Dr., Waunakee, WI 53597
A family celebration with plenty to see and do all day long, WaunaBoom takes place on July 4, 2025, from 2:00pm–10:30pm at Ripp Park. There's something for everyone here, including live music, movies in the park, a kids' bike parade, cornhole tournaments, pony rides, obstacle course, photo booths, carnival rides, and so much more. This event is free for everyone to attend, and it wraps up with an amazing fireworks display starting at 9:45pm.
